For this busy executive couple relocating to Berlin, time was of the essence. With the help of their Relocation Agent, they found a beautiful pre war apartment on one of Berlin’s most famous avenues.
The brief was to completely furnish and decorate the 200 m² apartment and turn it into a stylish and comfortable home away from home before they arrived to start new positions within one month!.
At our first meeting, we established a concept for a modern and elegant look with some unique touches and accessories reflecting their travels, such as a beautiful silk scarf from a museum which was framed and hung in the entrance hall.
Blue grays, anthracite gray, sand and deep plum accents throughout the apartment create interest through light, dark and neutral contrasts.
Taking advantage of the high ceilings, large scale photography and artwork was hung in the living and dining area.
To help improve the acoustics and add detail while maintaining light, the light and transparent fabric “Linara” from Camato was hung with a Wave installation across the eight meters of windows overlooking the rooftops.
